Arriving in America from his native Austria with just a few Dollars to his name he parlayed careers in body building and then as an action hero Hollywood actor into a political career. US Congressman Ron Paul of the 14th Congressional District of Texas, is a rare breed among American politicians. When Ron Paul speaks he actually makes a lot of sense.

Congressman Paul wants to reduce the size of the American government and have a return to constitutional principles. He doesnt believe that the founding fathers of America ever envisioned a government that takes almost half the income of its citizens as taxes.

Congressman Paul is serious in his contention that the IRS should be abolished. He points out that only about one third of the America budget is funded by income taxes and the the reduction in the size of the government could easily cover that amount.
